The Community Rising Project harnesses the power of community and civic engagement to transform outdated systems and create stronger support networks. We bring together community members, advocates, and organizers in a collaborative network focused on improving quality of life for individuals impacted by systemic challenges. Through direct support and systemic change, we work to build more effective, equitable, and compassionate community resources.
Community Engagement & Leadership Development
Peer-led programs that build the skills and confidence of directly impacted people to organize, advocate, and lead change in their own communities.
Civic Education
Focuses on understanding the process of government, political ideologies, civic and constitutional rights, local and state legislation, and the impact of civic engagement
Community Forums & Workshops
Forums and workshops are designed to engage individuals and identify solutions to issues affecting the community.
Healing & Trauma-Informed Care
Individuals participate in a variety of healing and trauma-informed workshops and events.
A passionate organization of community members dedicated to collaborating for the well-being of marginalized communities.

Help send three Community Rising Project organizers to the 40th Annual Hispanic Legislative Conference (SOMOS) in San Juan, November 4–7. Goal: $8,000 by October 23.
